In-Network Insurance Providers
We are in-network with the following insurance providers:
Aetna
BCBS
Cigna
NC Medicaid and all Managed Care Organizations
UHC
United Healthcare
If your plan is in-network, we will handle insurance claims directly. You will only be responsible for copays, deductibles, or non-covered services.
Out-of-Network Coverage & Superbills
If we are not in-network with your insurance, you may still qualify for reimbursement.
Before starting therapy, ask your insurance provider:
Is speech therapy covered under my child’s plan?
What diagnoses are covered? (Some plans require a medical diagnosis.)
Do I need a referral or pre-authorization?
What percentage of each session cost is reimbursed?
Do I have a deductible that must be met first?
We are happy to assist with insurance questions and provide documentation to support reimbursement requests.
Financial Assistance & Payment Plans
We believe all children should have access to speech therapy, regardless of financial circumstances.
Sliding Scale Fees
We offer income-based sliding scale fees for families who qualify. Please contact our office to discuss eligibility.
Flexible Payment Plans
If needed, we can arrange monthly installment plans to ease the financial burden of therapy.
Grants & External Funding
Families may be eligible for third-party funding, including:
Local or state programs for children with disabilities
Nonprofit organizations offering therapy grants
We are happy to guide you in exploring additional financial assistance options.
Billing & Cancellation Policies
Missed Appointments & Late Cancellations
To ensure availability for all families, we enforce a 24-hour cancellation policy:
We understand that unexpected situations arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice. This allows us to offer the appointment time to another child in need of services.
Frequent missed or late cancellations may result in changes to scheduling availability. If you have concerns about attendance policies, please reach out to our office to discuss options.
Exceptions may be made for medical emergencies or extenuating circumstances.
Common Insurance & Billing Terms
Copay: A fixed amount you pay per visit, set by your insurance.
Deductible: The amount you must pay before insurance covers services.
