Spencer Shuford

Spencer is licensed by the board of North Carolina and has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.

As a native of Boone, North Carolina, Spencer was eager to open a clinic to serve her community.

During her professional career, Spencer has had the opportunity to work with a variety of populations and disorders in the home, childcare, preschool, and clinic settings. She has gained experience working with children with Developmental Delays, Down Syndrome, Autism, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Language-Based Literacy Disorders, Articulation and Phonological Disorders, Receptive-Expressive Language Disorders, Social Pragmatic Disorders, and children with AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) devices.

Spencer is married to her husband, Taylor, and they have a son, Tate, and a daughter, Emmie. In her free time, Spencer loves spending time with family and friends, gardening, and taking walks with her dog, Opie.
